Hi everybody! After a brief holiday-themed hiatus, we’re back to finish what we’ve started!
We’ll be holding TWO more workdays to top off the semester. Our focus is to 1) complete our beautiful cattle panel fence, and 2) to complete our very creative tool shed. We hope you can lend a hand!
We’ll be working on the site the next two Saturday mornings: December 8, and December 15. 9:30 AM-12:30 PM.
Bring: -construction tools (hammers, sawhorses, saws, power drill, etc.) if you have ‘em-gloves-water-FOOD! Bring something breakfasty/snacky to share!
Wear closed toe shoes!
We’re off to such a great start and we thank you for all your help and support! Let’s get this structural stuff done so we can get to planting this Spring!

Hi everyone,Got a line from UT’s Division of Housing and Food Service sustainability staff about a new Farm-to-Work CSA (community supported agriculture) program starting on main campus! There will be two locations on campus, near SSB and Jester, and I believe the program is starting within the next week or two! Produce drop offs will be on Wednesdays.Volunteer help is needed on delivery days~ tasks include unloading farmer’s trucks,checking names of recipients off the master list, organizing produce shares, set up, tear down, etc. As an incentive volunteers can sign up for their own box of produce! Our first two workdays have been such a success! We thank you for all your help and participation! Our third workday is this Saturday, where we’ll start constructing a cattle panel fence around the site, and continue progress on the tool shed. We’ll take off Thanksgiving weekend, and then let y’all know where we’re going next.
